1. Information We Collect
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a salted, one-way scrypt hash). We also send a verification email to confirm your address.
Usage data: We collect information about how you use the Service, including pages visited, searches performed, companies viewed, data exported, and feature interactions. This data is collected to improve the Service and is not shared with third parties.
Payment information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. We receive only your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and billing period from Stripe.
2. Business Data We Display
The Service displays B2B company profiles for companies located in the United States only. We do not collect or store data about companies outside the United States. We do not store personal contact information (names, email addresses, or phone numbers) of individuals.
Company data (company name, domain, industry, size, funding, job postings, tech stack, and AI-generated enrichment) is aggregated from publicly available sources including:
- Public job board RSS feeds (We Work Remotely, RemoteOK, Remotive, Himalayas, Dribbble, Built In, and others)
- SEC EDGAR filings (Form D and other regulatory disclosures)
- Public company websites
- Public news articles and press releases (TechCrunch, VentureBeat, and others via RSS)
- VC portfolio pages (publicly listed portfolio companies)
- Product launch platforms (Product Hunt, Show HN, BetaList)
We do not scrape social media platforms, store personal contact information, or buy data from data brokers. Our web scrapers identify themselves with a transparent User-Agent string and respect robots.txt directives.
If your company appears in our database and you would like it removed, you can submit a request through our company removal form or email privacy@leadsagentpro.com.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: (a) provide, operate, and maintain the Service, (b) authenticate your identity and manage your account, (c) send account notifications such as email verification, password resets, and billing alerts, (d) send email digests if you opt in, (e) analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the Service, (f) respond to support and data removal requests, (g) enforce our Terms of Service.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal account information (your login credentials, usage history, or payment details) to third parties.
Company-level data (profiles, scores, signals) is displayed to authenticated users of the Service as part of our lead intelligence platform. This data is sourced from public records as described in Section 2. If your company appears in our database and you would like it removed, see Section 7.
We may also share data with:
- Service providers who assist in operating the Service (Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email), bound by their respective privacy policies
- Law enforcement when required by law, subpoena, or court order
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with prior notice to affected users
5. Cookies & Tracking
We use a single session cookie to maintain your authentication state. This cookie is httpOnly, secure in production, and expires after 7 days. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics services that track you across other websites.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including: HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, scrypt-based password hashing with unique salts, JWT-based session management with expiration, role-based access controls, rate limiting on authentication endpoints, and database-level access restrictions. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
Account data: We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page, which permanently removes your account, favorites, subscriptions, and digest history.
Company data: Company profiles are reviewed periodically. If your company appears in our database and you would like it removed, you may request removal at any time via our company removal form. We will process removal requests within 30 days.
Transactional records: Billing history and related records may be retained as required by law. Aggregated, anonymized usage data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely.

You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data

Unsubscribe requests are honored immediately. You can also manage your email preferences from the Email Digest page in the dashboard.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
